As Long as the River Flows Podcast
Welcome to the Keepers of the Water Podcast
The Keepers of the Water Podcast uplifts the voices, knowledge, and work of communities protecting our water, land, and air.
Keepers of the Water brings together First Nations, Métis, Inuit, environmental organizations, and concerned citizens who share one understanding: all water is connected, and water is sacred.
Guided by Elders, traditional knowledge, ceremony, ecological knowledge, and Natural Law, our movement works to raise awareness about declining water levels, water quality, industrial extraction, and the growing pressures being placed on freshwater systems.
Through this podcast, we amplify Indigenous land users, community members, advocates, and knowledge holders who are experiencing these impacts firsthand.
These conversations are about more than the challenges our communities face. They are also about resistance, hope, courage, responsibility, and the strength of Indigenous Peoples protecting water for future generations.
